Addis Ababa, The Gulf Observer: The Ethiopian government has reaffirmed that the nation is advancing with determination despite facing intensified efforts from historical adversaries seeking to derail its progress.
According to a recent statement, Ethiopia’s achievements are visible both nationally and internationally, with millions witnessing its development trajectory firsthand. However, the government noted that these successes have prompted renewed attempts by hostile forces to destabilize the country.
The statement outlined six tactics allegedly being deployed in this final push: exploiting violent actors, keeping the nation in a state of perpetual crisis, manipulating governance-related grievances, suppressing national agendas, weaponizing the media to foment unrest, and triggering economic disruptions through foreign currency and trade interference.
Ethiopian authorities stressed that the country will remain steadfast, countering these threats with resilience and unity to safeguard its sovereignty and continue its path toward sustainable growth.
