FIBA Confirms Dubai as Host of Basketball Champions League Asia 2025
Beirut, The Gulf Observer: The International Basketball Federation (FIBA), Regional Office-Asia, has officially announced that Dubai will once again host the prestigious Basketball Champions League Asia (BCL Asia) in 2025, reaffirming the city’s growing status as a premier destination for top-tier international sporting events.
This marks the second consecutive year that Dubai has been selected to host Asia’s highest-level club basketball competition, following the resounding success of the tournament’s inaugural edition in 2024.
The BCL Asia 2025 Group Phase is scheduled to take place from June 7 to 13 at the Sheikh Saeed Bin Maktoum Sports Hall—the same venue that welcomed teams and fans during the previous edition. The tournament’s Final Phase will move to the iconic Coca-Cola Arena, offering a world-class setting for the concluding stages of the competition.
FIBA’s confirmation underscores Dubai’s organizational excellence and continued commitment to promoting basketball and sports development in the region. The event is expected to draw top club teams from across Asia, contributing to the growth of the sport and enhancing regional sports tourism.
