First-ever Vietnam University Rankings puts Hanoi institution in top place
Hanoi, The Gulf Observer: The first-ever Vietnam University Rankings has been unveiled, with the Vietnam National University, Hanoi, securing the coveted top position.
The others in the top 10 are Vietnam National University, Ho Chi Minh City; Ton Duc Thang University; Hanoi University of Science and Technology, Duy Tân University, the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City, Can Tho University, Hanoi National University of Education, Da Nang University and Hue University.
The institutions were assessed across six categories to ensure “comprehensive and balanced” information, ensuring high reliability for pupils, parents, businesses, universities, students, and management agencies.
The six categories are Accredited Quality (accounting for 30 per cent), Teaching (25 per cent), Scientific Article Publication (20 per cent), Science, Technology and Invention (10 per cent) and Quality of Learners (10 per cent).
The ranking features 100 universities out of 237 higher education institutions across Việt Nam and is based on the data and information collected from the universities’ reports, ratings of the Ministry of Education and Training, QS World University Rankings, Times Higher Education, Web of Science in the 2018-2022 period.
