Grand Mosque Sermons and Lessons Now Translated into 11 Languages for Global Audience

Makkah, The Gulf Observer: The General Authority for the Care of the Two Holy Mosques has broadened its outreach by delivering sermons and lessons from the Grand Mosque in multiple accredited languages, ensuring accessibility for a global audience.

Through the Manarat Al-Haramain platform, the authority provides live broadcasts and translations of key sermons, including Friday sermons, Eid sermons, and those delivered during Arafah, lunar and solar eclipses, and rain-seeking prayers. These broadcasts are available in 11 languages: English, French, Urdu, Malay, Persian, Hausa, Chinese, Russian, Bengali, Turkish, and Indonesian. This initiative allows non-Arabic speakers worldwide to engage with the teachings of Islam.

In addition to sermon translations, the authority offers lessons by esteemed scholars, along with enrichment courses during the holy month of Ramadan and the Hajj season.

The services also extend to translating conferences and seminars held within the Grand Mosque, ensuring a wider understanding of Islamic teachings. Furthermore, translated texts are carefully reviewed for guidance boards and electronic screens displayed throughout the mosque and its courtyards, providing essential religious information in multiple languages for visitors from around the world.
