Grand Opening Ceremony Marks the Year of Kazakhstan Tourism in Beijing

Beijing, The Gulf Observer: The inaugural ceremony for the Year of Kazakhstan Tourism in China commenced with grandeur at the China National Opera House in Beijing, according to media reports.
The ceremony unfolded with the presentation of an ethno-auyl (village) and cultural events, captivating the audience gathered before the illustrious China National Opera House.
Dignitaries addressing the esteemed guests and participants included Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Kazakhstan, Murat Nurtleu; Head of the Publicity Department of the Central Committee of the Chinese Communist Party, Li Shulei; Kazakh Minister of Sport and Tourism, Yermek Marzhikpayev; and Chinese Minister of Culture and Tourism, Sun Yeli.
The festive gala concert commenced with the enthralling theatrical choreographic performance, ‘Yer saltanaty,’ presented by the soloists of the Abay Opera House, artists from the Astana Ballet Theatre, and the ‘Shattyq’ Dance Theatre. Esteemed Kazakh artists such as People’s Artist Roza Rymbaeva, Honored Artist Mayra Mukhamedkyzy, opera singer Zarina Altynbaeva, and ethno-rock group ‘Ulytau’ graced the stage. Additionally, performances by the choir group of the Abai Kazakh State Academic Opera and Ballet Theater, ensembles ‘Serper’ and ‘Sazgen Sazy,’ and the ballet troupe ‘Astana Ballet’ added to the cultural richness of the event.
The gala concert, dedicated to the commencement of the Year of Kazakhstan Tourism in China, promises a vibrant celebration of Kazakh culture and heritage, fostering deeper cultural exchanges and tourism cooperation between the two nations.
