Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Extends Invitation to UAE President for Ashgabat International Forum
Ashgabat, The Gulf Observer: The National Leader of the Turkmen People and Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, met with Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister, and Minister of the President’s Office of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, on Friday in Ashgabat.
During the talks, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov extended an invitation to UAE President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan to attend the International Forum on Peace and Trust, which is scheduled to take place in Ashgabat on December 12, 2025.
The discussions focused on further strengthening bilateral cooperation, emphasizing mutual respect and support. The high level of interstate dialogue between Turkmenistan and the UAE is expected to serve as a solid foundation for cooperation across various sectors, as reported by Turkmenistan’s official media.
Key topics included expanding partnerships in culture, science, education, and the arts. Both parties expressed a shared interest in organizing mutual Culture Days and specialized exhibitions. Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan also reiterated the UAE’s unwavering support for Turkmenistan’s peace initiatives on the international stage.
The meeting concluded with both leaders exchanging best wishes for the success of their state activities, as well as for peace and prosperity for the peoples of both nations.
