Baku, The Gulf Observer: The Heydar Aliyev Foundation organized its annual festive celebration for children in need of special care on the eve of World Azerbaijanis Solidarity Day and the New Year, reaffirming its commitment to social inclusion and child welfare.

The event was attended by Leyla Aliyeva, Vice-President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, Arzu Aliyeva, and Alena Aliyeva.

Children with disabilities from various orphanages and boarding schools, as well as children from the families of martyrs, were invited to the celebration titled “The New Year Wonders.”

The Gulustan Palace, specially decorated for the occasion, welcomed the children with fairy-tale characters and festive performances. The young guests were also given the opportunity to transform into their favorite characters through creative face art activities.

The festivities began with the screening of a video highlighting the care and attention of the National Leader of the Azerbaijani people, Heydar Aliyev, toward children, including his participation in New Year and World Azerbaijanis Solidarity Day celebrations. The video also featured moments from meetings and interactions of President Ilham Aliyev and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva, who is also the President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, with children.

Throughout the event, children enjoyed singing and dancing in the festively decorated hall, accompanied by well-known artists and characters from popular fairy tales and animated films.

The celebration concluded with the presentation of holiday gifts to the children by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, bringing joy and festive spirit to the young participants.
