High-Level Diplomatic Meeting Between Oman and the Netherlands
Muscat, The Gulf Observer: In a significant diplomatic meeting, Khalid Hashel Al Muselhi, Undersecretary of the Foreign Ministry for Administrative and Financial Affairs, welcomed Marcel De Vink, Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, on Monday.
The meeting delved into the bilateral relations between Oman and the Netherlands, emphasizing the mutual commitment of the two countries to enhance collaboration across various domains. Both sides expressed their eagerness to bolster cooperation, fostering stronger ties between their nations.
Addressing regional developments, the officials discussed ongoing efforts to manage the current escalation in the region. In a united stance, they highlighted the critical imperative to halt the brutal war waged by the Israeli occupation forces on the Gaza Strip. The meeting underscored the urgency of supporting the entry of diverse aid into the affected region.
The gathering witnessed the presence of key figures, including Sheikh Ahmed Hashel Al Maskari, Head of the GCC Department, and Munthir Mahfoudh Al Manthiri, Head of the Europe Department, alongside several officials from the Foreign Ministry. The Netherlands’ diplomatic delegation, led by Stella Kloth, Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to the Sultanate of Oman, and accompanying members, also participated in the constructive dialogue.
This high-level meeting not only reinforces the diplomatic ties between Oman and the Netherlands but also reflects their shared commitment to regional stability and humanitarian causes.
