Ilham Aliyev Extends Congratulations to Brazilian President on Independence Day

Baku, The Gulf Observer: President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, has sent a congratulatory letter to the President of the Federative Republic of Brazil, Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, on the occasion of Brazil’s Independence Day. The letter expressed President Aliyev’s heartfelt congratulations and extended best wishes to the people of Brazil.

In his letter, President Aliyev emphasized the importance Azerbaijan places on strengthening friendly and cooperative relations with Brazil, both bilaterally and through multilateral platforms. He highlighted the positive developments in Azerbaijan-Brazil relations, expressing satisfaction with their growth.

President Aliyev also underscored Azerbaijan’s commitment to continued cooperation with Brazil during the 29th session of the Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change, set to be held in Baku later this year. He noted the vital role of Brazil, Azerbaijan, and the United Arab Emirates within the Troika mechanism to address global warming and maintain the target of 1.5°C.

The letter concluded with warm wishes for the success of Brazil in hosting the upcoming G20 Summit and extended hopes for continued peace, prosperity, and well-being for the Brazilian people.
