Jakarta, The Gulf Observer: The Indonesian Navy’s hospital ship, KRI Dr. Radjiman Wedyodiningrat-992, has docked at the Port of Al Arish in Egypt, unloading 242 tonnes of humanitarian aid for Palestinians in the Gaza Strip.

The aid, which includes diapers, clothes, jackets, food, medicines, and blankets, was gradually unloaded and subsequently handed over to the Egyptian Red Crescent (ERC).

After repackaging, the ERC will distribute the aid through Rafah, the closest entry point to Gaza. The ship set sail from Jakarta on January 18, 2024, in its first voyage outside Indonesian waters since its launch in August 2022.
