Indonesia’s Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka Reviews Free Health Screening Program in East Jakarta

Jakarta, The Gulf Observer: Indonesia’s Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka reviewed the implementation of the Free Health Screening (CKG) program at two community health centers in East Jakarta, highlighting their potential as models for other regions.

According to a statement from his office on Friday, Vice President Gibran expressed appreciation for the enthusiastic public participation in the program, which has been running since February 10. On average, between 20 and 30 people participate in CKG screenings daily at both facilities.

The CKG program allows participants to register in advance via the SatuSehat application, complete a self-screening questionnaire, and visit the nearest health center with their ID card or family card, ticket code, and self-screening results. Additionally, walk-in registrations are available between 8 a.m. and 12 p.m., Monday through Friday.

As a priority initiative under President Prabowo Subianto’s administration, the CKG program has been actively promoted by health centers, particularly through social media. Vice President Gibran emphasized the importance of expanding the program nationwide to ensure comprehensive healthcare access for all citizens.

With the support of various stakeholders, the initiative aims to build a more inclusive and sustainable national health system, improving public welfare and quality of life. Starting in July, the program will gradually be extended to all groups, including students.

The Ministry of Health has outlined a phased implementation strategy, focusing on three key target groups: birthday CKG, school CKG, and special CKG for pregnant women and toddlers.
