International Series Oman Returns to Al Mouj Golf with Stellar Lineup

Muscat, The Gulf Observer: Muscat’s renowned Al Mouj Golf is set to host the International Series 2024, attracting some of the biggest names in golf as the International Series Oman returns to the Asian Tour schedule from February 22 to 25.
The tournament boasts a stellar lineup featuring major winners, LIV Golf stars, and top talent from the Asian Tour. With a purse of US$2 million, the Oman event serves as the season opener for the 2024 International Series schedule.
Al Mouj Golf, designed by Greg Norman, has garnered acclaim and was jointly awarded the Asian Tour Players Choice Course of the Year in 2023. The course will provide a challenging yet picturesque backdrop for the golfing elite.
H H Sayyid Azzan bin Qais al Said emphasized the positive impact of the International Series on promoting tourism and sports in Oman. The grounds of Al Mouj Golf have become synonymous with major world championships, showcasing Oman’s prowess as a premier golf destination.
Mundhir al Barwani, Chairman of the Oman Golf Association, expressed satisfaction with the success of the 2023 event, which exceeded expectations. The exceptional field of players not only showcased Oman to a global audience but also highlighted the sultanate’s hospitality, the Kempinski Muscat, and the magnificent Al Mouj Golf course.
