Iran and Pakistan Condemn Israeli Aggression Ahead of Arab-Islamic Summit

Islamic Summit

Doha, The Gulf Observer: Foreign ministers of Iran and Pakistan have strongly condemned Israeli aggression against Qatar and other countries in the region, according to a statement from Pakistan’s Foreign Ministry.

Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar conveyed Pakistan’s condemnation during a meeting with his Iranian counterpart, Seyed Abbas Araghchi, on the sidelines of the preparatory meeting for the Arab-Islamic Summit in Doha on Sunday evening.

Both diplomats denounced Israel’s unprovoked attacks, describing them as clear violations of sovereignty, international law, and the UN Charter. They underscored the crucial role of the Arab League and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) in uniting Muslim nations at this critical juncture.

Ishaq Dar and Araghchi reiterated their countries’ unwavering support for the Palestinian people in their just struggle for freedom and autonomy.

The meeting served as a prelude to the Arab-Islamic Summit, scheduled for Monday in Doha, where leaders will address last week’s Israeli military aggression against Qatar. Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian is expected to attend the summit.
