Iran Condemns Israeli Crimes in Gaza

Tehran, The Gulf Observer: The Spokesperson for Iran’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Esmaeil Baqaei, strongly condemned the continuation of what he described as systematic crimes and genocide committed by the Israeli regime in the Gaza Strip, placing direct blame on Israel’s Western supporters for enabling its ongoing violations of international law and human rights.

In a statement issued in Tehran, Baqaei denounced the indiscriminate killing of Palestinian civilians, including women and children, in various areas of Gaza, particularly at humanitarian aid distribution centers. He emphasized that these acts are part of a broader campaign of genocide against the Palestinian people.

The Iranian official also highlighted the prolonged and devastating blockade of Gaza, stating that the denial of food, water, and medical supplies has resulted in the slow deaths of hundreds of people, particularly vulnerable civilians. He further criticized the repeated desecration of Al-Aqsa Mosque, calling it a grave provocation and violation of Muslim sanctities.

Referring to the latest wave of Israeli attacks, Baqaei revealed that in just the past 12 hours, more than 60 innocent civilians, including numerous children, had lost their lives due to Israeli military operations.

He condemned the inaction of key international bodies, including the United Nations Security Council, the UN Human Rights Council, and the International Committee of the Red Cross, labeling their failure to respond to the crisis as “shameful and unjustifiable.”

Baqaei asserted that the unwavering support of the United States, the United Kingdom, Germany, and France has emboldened the Israeli regime to act with impunity, shielding it from accountability in the face of unprecedented atrocities. He stressed that these governments must be held morally and politically responsible, adding that “they must answer to the conscience of humanity.”

Iran’s statement reflects growing regional outrage over the humanitarian catastrophe in Gaza and adds to mounting international criticism of the ongoing conflict and the failure of global powers to enforce international humanitarian law.
