Iran Criticizes European Silence on Zionist Regime’s Terrorist Actions
Tehran, The Gulf Observer: Iran’s Acting Foreign Minister Ali Bagheri Kani has criticized some European governments for their silence and inaction regarding the terrorist actions of the Zionist regime during a phone call with Austria’s top diplomat, Alexander Schallenberg, on Tuesday night.
According to NHC, Bagheri Kani condemned the aggressive and terrorist acts of the Zionist regime that resulted in the assassination of Hamas political bureau head Ismail Haniyeh in Tehran last week.
“Unfortunately, some European countries have remained silent on the terrorist actions of the Zionist regime in violation of international law, and this has caused the arrogance of the criminal gang ruling in Tel Aviv to intensify tension and insecurity in the region,” Bagheri Kani stated. He highlighted the violation of Iran’s national sovereignty and security by the Israeli assassination of Haniyeh in Tehran.
Bagheri Kani further criticized the European side for effectively blocking all diplomatic channels by not condemning the clear terrorist aggression. He noted that, along with the US, European countries have even prevented the UN Security Council from condemning the assassination of the Hamas chief or taking any effective and deterrent actions against the Zionist regime.
Schallenberg expressed his concern about the deteriorating situation in the West Asian region but maintained Austria’s policy of not commenting on the Zionist actions. He called on all parties to exercise restraint and emphasized the need to utilize all diplomatic capacities to reduce tensions.
The conversation highlights the ongoing tensions and the complex diplomatic landscape surrounding the actions of the Zionist regime and the international community’s response.
