Iran, Oman FMs Discuss Bilateral Ties, Regional Developments in Phone Call

Tehran, The Gulf Observer: The foreign ministers of Iran and Oman held a telephone conversation on Monday to review bilateral relations and exchange views on key regional and international developments, Iranian media reported.

According to a readout published on Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi’s Telegram channel, Araghchi spoke with his Omani counterpart, Seyed Badr al-Busaidi, focusing on various aspects of Iran–Oman relations and avenues for further cooperation.

The two sides discussed issues of mutual interest and underscored the importance of continued dialogue and coordination on regional matters.

During the conversation, the top Iranian diplomat expressed concern over recent developments in southern Yemen, stressing the need for collective efforts and cooperation among regional countries to safeguard Yemen’s territorial integrity and promote stability.

Both ministers reaffirmed their commitment to maintaining close consultations on bilateral, regional, and international issues, the statement said.
