Iran, Uzbekistan Reaffirm Comprehensive Partnership During PM Aripov’s Visit to Tehran

Tashkent, The Gulf Observer: President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Masoud Pezeshkian, received Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Abdulla Aripov, in Tehran on Monday during an official visit aimed at strengthening bilateral relations.
The meeting began with Prime Minister Aripov extending warm greetings and best wishes from President Shavkat Mirziyoyev of Uzbekistan. He also expressed appreciation for the hospitality extended by the Iranian side.
Both leaders noted with satisfaction that, through the strong political will of the two countries’ leadership, bilateral ties have advanced to the level of a comprehensive partnership. The importance of fully implementing agreements reached at the highest level was emphasized as essential to ensuring regional stability and fostering long-term cooperation.
Discussions focused on key areas of cooperation, including trade, economic and investment collaboration, industrial development, transport and logistics, interregional initiatives, and cultural and humanitarian exchanges. Both sides reiterated their commitment to expanding practical partnerships in these sectors.
As part of their visit to Tehran, the Uzbek delegation toured Iran’s House of Innovation and Technology, where they were introduced to Iran’s latest advancements and products in energy, medicine, pharmaceuticals, agriculture, information technology, and construction sectors.
The visit concluded with both parties affirming their shared intention to deepen cooperation and translate strategic commitments into concrete outcomes for the mutual benefit of their nations.
