Islamabad, The Gulf Observer: The Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Pakistan, Reza Amiri Moghadam, has conveyed his heartfelt congratulations to the Government of Pakistan for successfully organizing the Regional Transport Ministers’ Conference (RTM) 2025 — a significant multilateral forum aimed at strengthening transport connectivity and sustainable regional cooperation.

In his official message for the conference, Ambassador Amiri Moghadam expressed deep appreciation for Pakistan’s effective hosting of the high-level event, emphasizing Iran’s honor in participating at the highest level.

“The geographical location of our region, rich in both natural and human resources, reflects a unique geopolitical configuration that, combined with our deep-rooted cultural linkages, makes it a vital hub of geoeconomics within a broader spectrum,” he stated.

The envoy further noted that the dynamics of regional cooperation will play a pivotal role in enhancing transregional connectivity, fostering sustainable transport partnerships, and promoting the shared prosperity and welfare of all societies in the region.

Referring to the strategic South–North and East–West Corridors, Ambassador Amiri Moghadam described them as “constructive platforms for cooperative engagement” among friendly and brotherly nations, including Iran, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Türkiye, Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Belarus, Turkmenistan, and Sri Lanka, among others.

He underscored that such initiatives symbolize the collective determination of regional countries to strengthen infrastructure integration and advance sustainable economic development across Asia and beyond.
