Iranian and Tajik Universities to Enhance Scientific Cooperation

Tabriz, The Gulf Observer: The universities of the Islamic Republic of Iran and Tajikistan have expressed a strong willingness to boost scientific cooperation, according to a report by NHC on Tuesday.

In a significant development, Tabriz University of Medical Sciences and Avicenna Tajik State Medical University have announced their readiness to further strengthen collaboration across various fields, particularly in research, education, and medicine.

Bahman Naghipour, the head of Tabriz University of Medical Sciences, emphasized the universities’ shared commitment to enhancing ties. He stated that both institutions are keen on drafting a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to formalize their cooperation and ensure that it is implemented effectively.

Naghipour highlighted the importance of convergence between the two universities, stressing that their collaboration should aim for comprehensive, all-encompassing cooperation that benefits both parties.

Founded in 1939, Avicenna Tajik State Medical University is one of Tajikistan’s leading educational institutions, located in the capital city of Dushanbe. The university has a long-standing reputation for excellence in medical education and research, making it a key partner for the Tabriz University of Medical Sciences.

The proposed collaboration between these two institutions marks a significant step towards deeper scientific engagement and the exchange of knowledge between Iran and Tajikistan.
