Iranian President Appoints New Deputies for Legal and Environmental Affairs
Tehran, The Gulf Observer: Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has appointed new deputies for legal and environmental affairs, marking significant changes in his administration.
On Thursday, President Pezeshkian appointed Majid Ansari as the Deputy President for Legal Affairs, replacing Mohammad Dehqan. In his appointment order, President Pezeshkian cited Article 124 of the Constitution and emphasized Ansari’s valuable management and executive experience.
In a separate decree, Pezeshkian appointed Shina Ansari as Iran’s Deputy President and Head of the Department of Environment. She replaces Ali Salajegheh, the former head of the department.
These appointments come shortly after Pezeshkian was sworn in as Iran’s 9th president on July 30, reflecting his commitment to assembling a team with extensive expertise in their respective fields.
