Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian to Visit Pakistan at PM Shehbaz Sharif’s Invitation

Tehran, The Gulf Observer: Mehdi Sanaei, Political Advisor to Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian, announced on Wednesday that the President will pay an official visit to Pakistan this Saturday at the invitation of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.
In a statement published on his official X account, Sanaei confirmed that the visit will include high-level meetings and engagements with cultural and business figures in Islamabad.
According to the advisor, the visit underscores the strong and multifaceted relationship between Iran and Pakistan, which spans political, economic, religious, and cultural domains. Among the key priorities of the visit are the expansion of provincial and border cooperation, as well as efforts to significantly increase bilateral trade, which currently stands at $3 billion.
The visit is expected to mark a new phase in strengthening ties between the neighboring countries and further promote regional connectivity, economic collaboration, and people-to-people exchanges.
