Iranian President Signals Readiness for Fair Deal; Putin Offers Mediation Support on Middle East Tensions

Tehran, The Gulf Observer: Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has expressed Iran’s willingness to reach a balanced and just agreement aimed at ensuring lasting peace and security in the region.
According to official statements, President Pezeshkian made these remarks during a telephone conversation with Russian President Vladimir Putin, during which both leaders discussed the recent Iran–United States negotiations held in Islamabad.
President Pezeshkian emphasized that progress toward an agreement would be achievable if the United States returns to the framework of international law. He noted that such a step would significantly narrow the gap between the parties and facilitate a constructive outcome.
Citing Russian media, President Putin reiterated Moscow’s readiness to continue playing a facilitating role in efforts to resolve tensions in the Middle East, highlighting Russia’s commitment to diplomatic engagement and regional stability.
In a separate statement, the Iranian president underscored that a viable agreement remains within reach, provided that the United States abandons unilateral approaches and respects the rights of the Iranian nation.
The exchange reflects ongoing diplomatic efforts involving key global stakeholders to revive negotiations and promote a peaceful resolution to the evolving regional crisis.
