Iranian President Stresses Iran’s Role as Regional Role Model in Development Vision Plan
Zahedan, The Gulf Observer: Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has called for Iran to solidify its position as a regional leader and an inspiration for neighboring countries, emphasizing the nation’s Development Vision Plan aligned with directives from Supreme Leader Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei.
During a visit to the southeastern province of Sistan and Baluchestan on Thursday, President Pezeshkian addressed local investors and economic operators, urging a united effort to achieve Iran’s ambitious developmental goals.
“It is not fitting for our nation, with its carefully designed vision for growth and progress, to lag behind other countries in the region,” he stated, underscoring the necessity of adopting scientific and methodical approaches to tackle challenges and achieve sustainable progress.
The president highlighted the core objectives of the Development Vision Plan, which seeks to position Iran as a leader in industry, economy, science, and technology. “Based on the development outlook defined by the Supreme Leader, Iran must be a developed nation, holding the top regional position in these fields, while also serving as an inspiration and a role model. Achieving this requires a paradigm shift in how we view and address challenges,” Pezeshkian remarked.
Pezeshkian reiterated the government’s commitment to fostering a strong partnership with the private sector, describing this collaboration as crucial to overcoming economic obstacles.
“With collaboration and the combined efforts of economic actors, we can resolve these issues,” he concluded.
The president’s remarks reflect Iran’s broader strategy to strengthen its socio-economic framework and reinforce its influence within the region.
