Ishaq Dar Meets Bangladesh Chief Adviser Muhammad Yunus to Strengthen Bilateral Ties

Dhaka, The Gulf Observer: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Pakistan, Ishaq Dar, met with Chief Adviser of Bangladesh Professor Muhammad Yunus in Dhaka on Sunday to discuss reviving historical connections and enhancing trade and economic cooperation between the two countries.

According to the Foreign Office, the talks also focused on promoting youth linkages, improving connectivity, reviewing recent regional developments, and exploring prospects for broader regional cooperation.

During the meeting, Dar conveyed the greetings of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif to the Chief Adviser and briefed him on his engagements in Dhaka, including the key outcomes of his visit. He expressed appreciation for the “excellent visit arrangements and the warm hospitality extended to him and his delegation,” the Foreign Office stated.
