Italian President Sergio Mattarella Pays Tribute at Martyrs’ Alley in Baku
Baku, October 1, 2025 – The Europe Today: As part of his official visit to Azerbaijan, President of the Italian Republic Sergio Mattarella visited Martyrs’ Alley on Wednesday.
President Mattarella honored the memory of Azerbaijan’s fallen heroes who sacrificed their lives in the struggle for the nation’s independence and territorial integrity. He laid a wreath at the “Eternal Flame” monument in tribute to their sacrifice.
