Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni Arrives in Oman
Muscat, The Gulf Observer: Prime Minister of the Italian Republic Giorgia Meloni arrived in Oman on Wednesday on a high-level official visit aimed at further strengthening the long-standing bilateral relations between the two friendly countries.
Upon her arrival, Prime Minister Meloni was accorded a formal reception, marking the start of a visit that reflects the depth of ties and growing cooperation between Muscat and Rome.
During her stay, the Italian Prime Minister is scheduled to hold official talks with His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik. The discussions are expected to focus on enhancing cooperation in a range of strategic sectors, including energy, investment, and culture, as well as on key regional and international issues of mutual interest.
The visit underscores the shared commitment of Oman and Italy to deepening their diplomatic partnership and exploring new opportunities for economic growth and collaboration in line with Oman Vision 2040.
