Karabakh and East Zangezur Undergoing Rapid Revival: President Aliyev

Baku, The Gulf Observer: President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, announced the near completion of restoration efforts in Ballija village, located in the Khojaly district, during a meeting with newly relocated residents.
“The restoration of the village of Ballija is also in its final stages. According to my information, 137 houses have already been restored, with about 60 more to be restored,” President Aliyev stated.
He further noted that 460 former displaced persons have already moved back to Ballija, where housing and infrastructure have been fully restored. Emphasizing the region’s potential, he highlighted the ample opportunities for farming, given the fertile land and clean environment.
“The entire Karabakh region and the East Zangezur region are reviving, and we see this clearly every day,” President Aliyev added, reaffirming the government’s commitment to revitalizing liberated territories and ensuring sustainable resettlement for returning families.
