Kazakh and Turkish Foreign Ministers Hold Telephone Talks on Strengthening Strategic Partnership

Astana, The Gulf Observer: At the initiative of the Turkish side, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan Yermek Kosherbayev held a telephone conversation with his Turkish counterpart, Minister of Foreign Affairs Hakan Fidan, the Kazakh Foreign Ministry reported.

During the conversation, Minister Fidan congratulated Kosherbayev on his recent appointment as Kazakhstan’s Foreign Minister and wished him success in fulfilling his highly responsible duties. Expressing gratitude, Minister Kosherbayev reaffirmed Kazakhstan’s commitment to comprehensively deepening the expanded strategic partnership with Türkiye, describing the country as a brotherly nation.

The two ministers reviewed current issues and prospects for the further development of bilateral relations, including the implementation of agreements reached at high and highest levels. They also exchanged views on strengthening cooperation within regional and international frameworks.

Both sides agreed to maintain active dialogue in bilateral and multilateral formats and extended best wishes for the successful conduct of the upcoming 12th Summit of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) in Azerbaijan.
