Kazakh Foreign Minister Bids Farewell to South Korean Ambassador, Commends Bilateral Ties

Astana, The Gulf Observer: On December 24, Kazakh Minister of Foreign Affairs Yermek Kosherbayev received Ambassador of the Republic of Korea Cho Tae Ick on the occasion of the completion of his diplomatic mission in Kazakhstan, according to media reports.

Minister Kosherbayev expressed high appreciation for the dynamic relations between Kazakhstan and South Korea within the framework of the enhanced strategic partnership. He reaffirmed Astana’s commitment to comprehensively developing the full spectrum of mutually beneficial cooperation with Seoul, the press service of the Kazakh MFA reported.

Ambassador Cho Tae Ick, in turn, conveyed his deep gratitude for the comprehensive support and hospitality extended during his tenure in Kazakhstan. He expressed confidence in the continued steady and dynamic development of Kazakh-Korean relations, grounded in mutual respect and trust.

The officials also exchanged views on advancing joint efforts within the Central Asia–Republic of Korea dialogue and agreed to maintain close coordination to ensure the successful organization of high- and top-level events.

Concluding the meeting, Minister Kosherbayev presented Ambassador Cho with a Letter of Appreciation on behalf of President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, along with a commemorative pin, in recognition of his significant contribution to strengthening and developing bilateral relations, and wished him continued success in his future professional endeavors.
