Paris, The Gulf Observer: Kazakh judoka Zarina Raifova secured a bronze medal in the women’s +70 kg J2 category at the ongoing 2024 Summer Paralympic Games in Paris, France, according to NHC.
Raifova triumphed over Italy’s Carolina Costa in the bronze medal bout, adding the eighth medal to Kazakhstan’s overall tally at the Games.
Kazakhstan’s Paralympic team has so far earned two gold, three silver, and two bronze medals. Raifova’s victory contributes to the nation’s continued success on the international stage at this year’s Paralympic Games.
