Astana, The Gulf Observer: At the initiative of the French side, President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev of Kazakhstan held a telephone conversation with President Emmanuel Macron of the French Republic, the Akorda press service reported.

During the discussion, both leaders highlighted the positive dynamics of bilateral relations and expressed their commitment to further developing trade and economic cooperation between the two countries.

President Tokayev and President Macron also exchanged views on key international issues, in the context of preparations for the 80th anniversary of the United Nations.

The conversation underscores the ongoing strengthening of Kazakhstan-France ties and their mutual interest in addressing global challenges through dialogue and cooperation.
