Kazakhstan Advances Rural Healthcare and Education Projects

Astana, The Gulf Observer: The Government of Kazakhstan is continuing the implementation of the Rural Healthcare Modernization National Project, Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov stated during an extended meeting of the AMANAT Party faction.
According to Bektenov, 540 out of 655 rural healthcare facilities have already been constructed under the program, enabling nearly one million rural residents to access improved medical services.
In addition to healthcare, the government is also prioritizing education through the Keleshek Mektepteri (Schools of the Future) National Project. To date, 160 schools accommodating 310,000 pupils have been built across the country. Furthermore, 340 additional schools designed to provide space for 484,000 children are scheduled to be commissioned in the 2024–2025 academic year.
Prime Minister Bektenov emphasized that these initiatives reflect Kazakhstan’s commitment to strengthening social infrastructure, particularly in rural areas, to ensure balanced national development.
