Kazakhstan and Lithuania Hold Consultations on Foreign Policy Planning
Astana, The Gulf Observer: In a significant move towards enhancing bilateral relations, representatives from the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan and Lithuania held consultations on foreign policy planning and analysis in Astana. The high-level meeting took place at the department directors’ level, with Kazakhstan represented by Anuarbek Akhmetov, Head of the Department of Foreign Policy Analysis and Strategic Planning of the Kazakh MFA, and Lithuania represented by Marius Janukonis, Head of the Department of Strategic Management and Analysis of the Lithuanian MFA.
According to media reports, the consultations marked a critical step in the implementation of agreements between the two ministries. During the discussions, both parties shared their experiences in foreign policy planning and government management. They also exchanged views on a wide range of international and regional issues.
A key outcome of the meeting was the agreement to continue regular consultations between the respective departments. This ongoing dialogue is expected to facilitate deeper cooperation and understanding between Kazakhstan and Lithuania.
