Kazakhstan and UAE Deepen Strategic Ties Ahead of Intergovernmental Commission Meeting

Abu Dhabi, The Gulf Observer: Ambassador of Kazakhstan to the United Arab Emirates, Rauan Zhumabek, held a meeting with the UAE Minister of Energy and Infrastructure and Special Representative for Kazakhstan, Suhail Al Mazrouei, to discuss the ongoing development of bilateral relations, according to the Kazakh Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
During the meeting, Ambassador Zhumabek emphasized the comprehensive expansion of trade, economic, and investment cooperation between Kazakhstan and the UAE. He noted that both countries enjoy a robust partnership built on mutual trust and a shared commitment to long-term collaboration.
For his part, Minister Suhail Al Mazrouei highlighted the significance of joint investment projects currently being implemented and underscored the importance of ensuring the high-quality execution of agreements reached during the official visit of the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed Al Nahyan, to Astana in May this year. He also reaffirmed the UAE’s strong interest in further deepening bilateral relations and placed special emphasis on renewable energy initiatives as a priority area of cooperation.
Concluding the meeting, both sides agreed to maintain momentum in strengthening bilateral ties and begin preparations for the 10th session of the Kazakhstan-UAE Intergovernmental Commission, which is scheduled to be held in Astana on November 24–25, 2025.
