Kazakhstan, Kuwait Foreign Ministers Discuss Middle East Situation, Reaffirm Bilateral Cooperation

Astana, The Gulf Observer: Kazakh Foreign Minister Yermek Kosherbayev held a telephone conversation with Kuwait’s Foreign Minister Sheikh Jarrah Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah on Sunday, according to a statement from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan.

During the call, the two sides exchanged views on a range of regional and global developments, with particular focus on the evolving situation in the Middle East.

Minister Kosherbayev expressed concern over the dangerous military escalation in the region and outlined Kazakhstan’s position on the matter. He emphasized the importance of resolving the conflict through diplomatic means in accordance with the principles of international law.

Both foreign ministers also reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening bilateral cooperation between Kazakhstan and Kuwait. They underscored the importance of continued engagement and coordination within international and regional organizations.

The conversation reflected the shared interest of the two countries in promoting dialogue, stability and cooperation on key global issues.
