Kazakhstan Wins Six Gold Medals at Boxam Elite 2026 Tournament in Spain

Astana, The Gulf Observer: Kazakhstan’s national boxing team has concluded a highly successful campaign at the Boxam Elite 2026 in La Nucía, Spain, securing six gold medals and a total of 17 podium finishes, according to Qazinform News Agency, citing the National Olympic Committee of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Gold medals were claimed by Sanzhar Tashkenbay (50 kg), Makhmud Sabyrkhan (55 kg), Torekhan Sabyrkhan (70 kg), Nurbek Oralbay (85 kg), Aibek Oralbay (+90 kg), and Umida Sadykova (+80 kg), highlighting Kazakhstan’s strength across multiple weight categories.

Silver medals went to Aman Konsbekov (75 kg), Sagyndyk Togambay (90 kg), Nurassyl Assylkhan (+90 kg), Panar Seiitkhankyzy (+80 kg), and Nazerke Serik (65 kg).

In addition, six Kazakh boxers secured bronze medals: Timur Nurseitov (75 kg), Azamat Bektas (80 kg), Nurbek Mursal (70 kg), Nurzat Ongarov (50 kg), Guzal Sadykova (80 kg), and Yelyanur Turganova (48 kg).

The strong overall performance underscores Kazakhstan’s continued prominence in international boxing and adds momentum ahead of upcoming competitions on the global calendar.
