King of Jordan meets Canada’s Governor General

Ottawa, The Gulf Observer: His Majesty King Abdullah II Ibn Al Hussein met on Friday with Canada Governor General Mary Simon at Rideau Hall in Ottawa.

The meeting reviewed the strategic ties between Jordan and Canada and means to bolster them across various fields.

The leaders emphasized the importance of opening new horizons of cooperation to address shared global challenges, particularly with regard to food security, energy, and mitigating the impact of climate change, Petra reported.

The meeting also covered the latest regional and international developments, foremost of which is the Palestinian cause, as well as efforts to find political solutions to crises in the Middle East.
