Lahore Qalandars Leadership Visits Embassy of Azerbaijan in Islamabad
Islamabad, The Gulf Observer: On Friday, Mr. Atif Naeem Rana, Chief Executive Officer of Lahore Qalandars, and Mr. Sameer Rana, Chief Operating Officer, paid a courtesy visit to the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan 🇦🇿 in Islamabad.
During the visit, the delegation had the honour of meeting with His Excellency Mr. Khazar Farhadov, Ambassador of the Republic of Azerbaijan to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan 🇵🇰. The meeting highlighted the growing cultural and diplomatic ties between Pakistan and Azerbaijan through the shared passion for sports.
The Lahore Qalandars management expressed sincere gratitude to the Government and People of Azerbaijan for their steadfast support during a recent challenging time faced by the team. They also took the opportunity to formally invite His Excellency to attend the upcoming matches of the Pakistan Super League (PSL), underscoring sports diplomacy as a powerful medium for international goodwill.
Mr. Khalid Taimur Akram, a distinguished philanthropist and award-winning author, whose presence added further depth to the discussions centered around regional cooperation, youth engagement, and cultural exchange through sports.
