Leyla Aliyeva Visits Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque

Muscat, The Gulf Observer: As part of her visit to Muscat, Leyla Aliyeva, Vice-President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, visited the Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque, one of Oman’s most iconic religious and architectural landmarks.
Built on the initiative of the late Sultan Qaboos bin Said and inaugurated in 2001, the mosque is renowned for its grandeur and architectural significance. With the capacity to accommodate approximately 20,000 worshippers, the Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque has become a prominent symbol of Muscat’s cultural and spiritual heritage.
