Madani Budget 2026 Reflects Malaysia’s Reform Priorities and National Direction, Says PM Anwar

Kuala Lumpur, The Gulf Observer: Prime Minister and Finance Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has emphasized that the upcoming Madani Budget 2026 is not merely an annual financial document but a reflection of the government’s priorities and Malaysia’s direction for the year ahead.
Speaking after briefing media editors on the Madani Budget 2026 at the Ministry of Finance in Putrajaya on Wednesday, Anwar underscored the crucial role of the media in communicating the government’s reform agenda and the national vision for change.
“The Madani Budget 2026 is not just an annual financial document but a reflection of the government’s priorities and the nation’s direction for the year ahead. Therefore, the media plays a vital role in conveying the reform narrative and the national agenda for change to the people,” he said in a post on Facebook.
The Prime Minister added that further details would be unveiled during the presentation of the Fourth Madani Budget on Friday, October 10, which will focus on protecting the people’s welfare, strengthening the economy, and reinforcing the foundations of a sustainable and inclusive nation.
