Malaysia and Pakistan Hold Bilateral Meeting to Strengthen Ties and Prepare for High-Level Visit

Islamabad, The Gulf Observer: On April 29, 2025, Mr. Mohd Syafik Firdaus, Deputy Head of Mission at the Malaysian High Commission, paid a courtesy call on Mr. Muhammad Chanzaib, Deputy Secretary to the Prime Minister of Pakistan, at the Prime Minister’s Office.

The meeting served as an important platform for both sides to reaffirm their commitment to strengthening the longstanding bilateral relationship between Malaysia and Pakistan. Discussions centered on enhancing cooperation in key areas of mutual interest, including trade, investment, education, and people-to-people exchanges.

A key focus of the dialogue was the preparations for a forthcoming high-level visit by the Government of Pakistan to Malaysia. Both parties agreed that the visit would mark a significant milestone in further advancing strategic collaboration and deepening diplomatic engagement.
