Malaysia Concludes 65th International Tilawah and Hifz Competition with Blessings and Global Participation

Kuala Lumpur, The Gulf Observer: The curtain fell last night on the 65th International Tilawah and Hifz Competition, marked by an atmosphere of grace and blessings. The closing ceremony was graced by the special presence of Imam and Khatib of Masjid Nabawi, His Excellency Sheikh Dr. Solah al-Budair, as the distinguished guest.
A total of 71 Tilawah participants and 32 Hifz participants from 49 countries competed in this year’s edition. Special congratulations were extended to all winners, with particular pride in Malaysia’s outstanding achievements: Aiman Ridhwan bin Mohamad Ramlan emerged champion in the Men’s Tilawah category, Wan Sofea Aini binti Wan Mohd Zahidi claimed first place in the Women’s Tilawah category, and Putri Auni Khadijah binti Mohd Hanif secured second place in the Women’s Hifz category.
Expressing gratitude, the statement praised the dedication and excellence demonstrated by the participants, and prayed for the message of the Holy Qur’an to continue guiding humanity with truth and righteousness. The event underscored the importance of reflection and understanding of the Qur’an, aiming to nurture a society grounded in piety and divine guidance.
