Malaysian High Commissioner Congratulates Pakistan on Successful Completion of Largest-Ever IMT Spectrum Auction

Islamabad, The Gulf Observer: The High Commissioner of Malaysia to Pakistan has congratulated the Government of Pakistan on the successful completion of its largest-ever International Mobile Telecommunications (IMT) spectrum auction, describing it as a landmark milestone for the country’s digital future and the rollout of 5G technology.

In his message, the Malaysian envoy commended Federal Minister for IT and Telecommunication Shaza Fatima Khawaja and her team for their visionary and forward-looking leadership in advancing Pakistan’s digital transformation agenda.

He noted that the successful auction represents a significant step toward enhancing digital connectivity, expanding broadband access, and accelerating the development of Pakistan’s digital economy.

The High Commissioner further emphasized that Malaysia, as a strategic partner of Pakistan, looks forward to strengthening bilateral cooperation in areas of digital innovation, connectivity, and technological development. He expressed confidence that enhanced collaboration between the two countries would contribute to building a dynamic digital economy for the mutual benefit of both nations and their peoples.

Concluding his remarks, the envoy reaffirmed the longstanding friendship between the two countries, saying, “Malaysia–Pakistan Dosthi Zindabad.”
