Mirziyoyev awards Erdogan and Gurbanguly highest order of the Turkic world
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Chairman of the People’s Council of the National Council of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedow had a special contribution in strengthening the friendship and partnership between the countries. In this regard, a decision was made to award them with the highest order of the Turkic world.
President Shavkat Mirziyoyev presented these awards to Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedow.
At the initiative of the head of state, an international award named after Alisher Navoi was established within the framework of the Organization of Turkic States.
Its first owner was Chingiz Aitmatov, a great writer and public figure, a great humanist, for his contribution to the Turkic world unity. This award was presented to the President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov.
Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedow and Sadyr Japarov expressed gratitude for the awards and noted that the Samarkand summit was very effective and beneficial for the people.
