Misr-Sat 2 to be launched in October
Cairo, The Gulf Observer: Official in charge of Misr-Sat 2 satellite project Ahmed Refaei unveiled details about launching the satellite in the first week of October at a cost of dlrs 74 million.
In statements to MENA on Sunday, he said the assembly of the satellite was completed in collaboration with China.
The satellite will be sent to China on June 28 in preparation for final tests ahead of the launch.
The satellite is the fruit of cooperation between Egypt and China.
The mission of the satellite is imaging Egyptian soil to preserve the environment and undertaking remote sensing.
