Moroccan and Mauritanian Defense Officials Discuss Enhanced Military Cooperation in Marrakech
Marrakech, The Gulf Observer: Lieutenant General Mohammed Berrid, Inspector General of Morocco’s Royal Armed Forces (FAR) and Commander of the South Zone, met with Mauritanian Minister of Defense, Mr. Hanena Ould Sidi, on Friday in Marrakech. The high-level meeting took place on the sidelines of this year’s Marrakech Air Show, under the directives of King Mohammed VI.
Discussions between the two defense officials focused on strengthening military cooperation and exploring new avenues for collaboration across various defense sectors. The meeting underscored the enduring and robust military relationship between Morocco and Mauritania, emphasizing their shared commitment to addressing regional challenges and security threats.
