Morocco

Rabat, The Gulf Observer: Morocco has swiftly delivered an additional humanitarian aid shipment to residents of Gaza, a move made possible through the international standing of King Mohammed VI and the Kingdom’s growing geopolitical influence, according to Palestinian Television Director General Mohammed Al-Barghouti.

Speaking to Morocco’s official news agency (MAP), Al-Barghouti emphasized that Morocco’s diplomatic weight and the respect commanded by King Mohammed VI worldwide were crucial in ensuring the aid reached Gaza’s population, which continues to suffer from Israeli-induced starvation.

“The Kingdom leveraged its geopolitical influence on the international scene and the great consideration it enjoys under His Majesty’s leadership to deliver this aid urgently and directly to vulnerable populations in the Gaza Strip,” Al-Barghouti said.

Royal Initiative as a Source of Hope

Al-Barghouti described the initiative of King Mohammed VI as “a beacon of hope for Palestinians in Gaza and a message to freedom-loving nations worldwide to launch similar initiatives.” He underscored that the aid reflects Morocco’s consistent political positions in international forums in support of the Palestinian cause.

According to Al-Barghouti, the latest delivery reaffirms Morocco’s unwavering support for Palestinians and marks another chapter in the Kingdom’s steadfast defense of their rights.

Al-Qods Committee’s Continued Role

The Palestinian official also praised the efforts of the Al-Qods Committee, chaired by King Mohammed VI, and the Bayt Mal Al-Qods Acharif Agency, highlighting their role in strengthening the resilience of Jerusalem’s residents. He commended the ongoing positive actions of King Mohammed VI, the Moroccan government, and the Moroccan people, stressing Morocco’s long-standing special commitment to the Palestinian issue.

Diplomatic Success and Global Advocacy

The successful delivery of aid to Gaza highlights Morocco’s ability to navigate complex international dynamics and leverage its diplomatic relations to achieve humanitarian objectives.

King Mohammed VI’s role as Chairman of the Al-Qods Committee has consolidated Morocco’s position as a prominent advocate for Palestinian rights on the global stage.

This humanitarian gesture further reinforces Morocco’s commitment to supporting Palestinians amid the ongoing crisis in Gaza, as much of the international community remains passive.
