Nahyan bin Zayed Crowns Al Wasl as UAE President’s Cup Champions

Al Ain, The Gulf Observer: H.H. Sheikh Nahyan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Zayed Charitable and Humanitarian Foundation and Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Sports Council, crowned Al Wasl as the champions of the UAE President’s Cup following their decisive 4-0 victory over Al Nasr. The final match took place at the Hazza bin Zayed Stadium in Al Ain city.

The crowning ceremony was graced by the presence of Sheikh Hamdan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, President of the UAE Football Association (UAEFA); Sheikh Rashid bin Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum, President of Al Nasr Sports Club; and other distinguished officials.

This victory marks the third time in Al Wasl’s history that they have won the UAE President’s Cup, solidifying their reputation as one of the premier football clubs in the nation.
