National and Regional Unity Key to Strengthening Iran’s Sovereignty: President Pezeshkian
Tehran, The Gulf Observer: Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has emphasized that Iran’s efforts to foster unity at the national, regional, and international levels are crucial to enhancing the country’s dignity and sovereignty. He made these remarks during a cabinet session on Sunday afternoon, underscoring the strategic importance of unity in countering external threats.
“The enemy takes advantage of divisions,” Pezeshkian noted, stressing that unity serves as a powerful shield against efforts to undermine Iran’s strength and stability. His call for unity aligns with the Islamic Republic’s broader goals of strengthening ties both domestically and with neighboring countries.
In the same session, President Pezeshkian lauded the successful launch of the Chamran 1 research satellite, which was placed into orbit on Saturday. He commended the scientific and technical teams involved in the project, highlighting the significance of this achievement for Iran’s space program and its position in technological advancement.
“The individuals who worked tirelessly to develop and launch this spacecraft should be offered the necessary motivations and support,” Pezeshkian stated, expressing pride in the progress made in Iran’s space initiatives.
The successful satellite launch marks a major step forward in Iran’s space exploration capabilities, further demonstrating the country’s commitment to scientific research and technological independence.
