National Leader of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Arrives in France

Paris, The Gulf Observer: Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, the National Leader of the Turkmen People and Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty, arrived in the French Republic on Monday for an official visit aimed at deepening bilateral relations between Turkmenistan and France, according to Turkmenistan’s state news agency.
Earlier in the day, Berdimuhamedov was formally seen off at Ashgabat International Airport by senior officials and representatives of Turkmenistan’s official circles. Upon arrival in Paris, the Turkmen delegation’s aircraft landed at Orly International Airport, where the venue was adorned with the national flags of both countries to mark the occasion.
The Turkmen leader was received with official ceremony by French dignitaries and members of the Turkmen diplomatic mission. A ceremonial guard of honor was also present to welcome the distinguished guest, underscoring the importance attached to the visit.
During the reception, Berdimuhamedov engaged in a brief conversation with a French official, who conveyed the French government’s interest in enhancing multifaceted cooperation with Turkmenistan. The official also extended warm wishes for the success of the visit.
According to official reports, the visit is expected to serve as a significant step forward in expanding Turkmen-French collaboration across various sectors, including trade, energy, culture, and diplomacy. It is anticipated that high-level meetings and discussions during the visit will contribute to opening a new chapter in the longstanding and friendly relations between the two countries.
